OUR AIM
We as a club, focus on community service and student activism. Our main goal is to create a group of teenagers who are committed to spreading awareness and creating change both inside and outside the Manthan community.
We hope to support and encourage community service in Manthan; raise awareness about social issues in our community and to urge students in and out of the club to take initiative and become leaders and change-makers
OUR METHOD
COAP club is based on a team work dynamic. There is no student- teacher relationship, instead all participants work together towards a common goal.
In this club, all students contribute to creating an impact by using their existing skills. Whether its writing, drawing and being a people person, there is a place for you in this club to hone those skills and help others.
Our method is to start small and work up. We take each project in three stages.
Stage 1
Before we can help our community as a whole, we need to look at our school. We spread awareness within the school primarily through our newsletter and guest webinars.
Stage 2
We hope to work with small ngos or vulnerable groups such as government schools to extend our resources and support to informing and aiding our peers
Stage 3
The final stage would be organising a larger event such as a donation drive or fundraiser to procure resources and supplying them to those who need it.

Hey! I'm Gayathri (she/her). I am an eleventh-grade student currently completing my AS levels. In my free time, I like to watch video essays about films and social commentary, binge true crime documentaries, enjoy stand-up comedy and political satire ("Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" is my favorite).
